Happy New Years to you all and may the peace of Christ be with you. Our generation must understand that all have sinned. We can speak these words with mouths, but do we really understand these words? So many people are living as if they have never sinned. Now the Bible clearly states that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
The Apostle Paul states in Romans that ALL— not a certain race, not a certain sex, not a few, but ALL HAVE SINNED! We MUST remember this in out daily walk. For there are so many people walking around lost. When a person falls into a fault (sin) many tend to turn there backs and act as if they have not seen anything. Paul writes in Galatians 6:1 “those who are spiritual should help such a one.” Reading these words we must understand that our lives are not about ourselves, but about Jesus.
This generation of ours must also do as Paul told Timothy “study to show thyself approved.” (2 Timothy 2:15) The only way to resist the Devil is with the world of God. (Luke 4:1-13) The only way to learn the word of God is to study and allow the Holy Spirit to teach us. We must understand that if we break one law we broke them all. (James 2:10-11) Now this is so hard for many to understand, because people want to say that one sin is greater than the next. People want to condemn and judge. My brothers and sisters I do encourage you to open your Bibles while you are reading the messages on our site. This is an excellent way to study the Bible and a great way to learn and memorize different Bible verses. I pray that all who read these words of Jesus will apply them to their lives.
Adam ate from the tree of knowledge (Genesis 3:6) after being warned by God that he would die if he ate from this tree. (Genesis 2:17) Now Eve also had knowledge that if she ate from the tree of knowledge that she would die. (Genesis 3:3) Adam was created perfect, but when Adam disobeyed God sin & death entered the world from that point on all was born separated from God and this means being born into sin (dead), but in Christ all shall be made alive. (1 Corinthians 15:21-22) Through Jesus and only through Jesus the Christ (John 14:6) sin and death is defeated. (1 Corinthians 15:26, 15:55-57, Revelation 21:4) Those who accept Jesus as ones Lord will have life with the Heavenly Father in Heaven for eternity. (John 3:15-16, 8:51) Jesus tells his disciples in Mark 16:16 that those who believe and is baptized shall be saved but he that believe not shall be damned.
Our generation must start obeying the words of Lord and do as the Israelites, who called out to God to free them from bondage. (Ex 3:7) Now we don’t want to be like the Israelites after they were freed, for they witness many miracles from God, but after they were freed they turned there backs on God and decided to live there way. (Exodus 32:1-8) Moses pleaded for mercy and God spared the Israelites. (Exodus 32:9-14) Understand that the Israelites were living under the law, but today we live under Grace. My brothers and sisters take a moment right now and just thank God for his grace and mercy that He has for us all.
In John 14:6 Jesus tells us that “I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. There is only one way to live and that is the way Jesus taught his disciples. Many will say that I can’t live that way, or say that is a boring way to live. One must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Jesus. (Mark 8:34) The disciples presented a question to Jesus “who then can be saved?” Matthew 19:25, Jesus answered in verse 26. Now you will have to read Matthew 19:16-26 to get the meat of the story. All things are possible with God.
Our generation must apply the words of God to there lives, and not just read them, one must abide in Christ and then Christ will abide in the one. (John 15:4) In doing this one will be able to resist the Devil with the word of God. Jesus resisted the Devil with the world of God (Matthew 4:1-11). Now when I speak of our generation I mean all of our generation, including our children. Understand that children are under spiritual attack just like adults. We must teach our Children about Christ, for the Devil is attacking all. We must be aware and understand that we are in a battle and this battle is against spiritual wickedness that is unseen. (Ephesians 6:12)
We were created by God, to serve God and to worship God. The only way to be free from the bondage of sin is through Jesus. (Galatians 5:1) When we deny ourselves daily and pick up our cross and follow Jesus (Luke 9:23) we will study the word of God daily, we will pray daily, we will fast, we will love all, will communion with the Heavenly Father daily and we will be loving God. Understand that you will face tribulation in the world, but Jesus has over come the world. (John 16:33) So I encourage you today to turn to Jesus, for Jesus was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18) and walked among men, and the world didn’t know Jesus even though Jesus created all. (John 1:10) Jesus healed people (Matthew 4:23; 12:13) and taught people how to live. (John 8:2) So many people rejected Jesus (John 8:45) some of these people who rejected Jesus didn’t believe that Jesus was the Son of God. (Mark 6:3)
The people who were supposed to be Holy people not only rejected Jesus, but accused Jesus of blaspheme (Matthew 9:3) then brought Jesus to Pilate to be killed. Jesus was beaten very badly and mocked. (Luke 22:63) Jesus carried the very cross that He was nailed to and went through so much pain so that we could live. Death entered the world through Adam, but life entered the world through Jesus. (1Corinthians 15:21) For in Jesus there is life. (John 1:4) I pray that you will apply the words of Christ to your life. Be ye doers of the word, and not just hearers only, deceiving your own selves. (James 1:22) I also hope that you will look at the verses in this message and search them out in your Bibles.
May you continue to press forward towards the higher calling of Christ just like the Apostle Paul. (Philippians 3:14)
