DO YOU HAVE ROOM?
Praise the Lord my brothers and sisters. Christmas season is here again. Just remember those who are less fortunate than you are my brothers and sisters. Pray for them and there families. Take the time to explain to someone about the true meaning of Christmas and that December 25th is the day that we celebrate the Birth of Jesus the Christ.
Explain to all, that when Jesus was born, there was no room in the inn (Luke 2:7), so Jesus was placed in a manger, not a hospital room not a relative’s spare room or a Best Western, but a manger, our Lord was placed in a manger. Even at His birth Jesus showed all how to be humble. How many of you would stay in a manger today or have you child stay in a manger? Do you have room for Jesus my friends? Do you have room in your house for Jesus? Do you have room in your hearts for Jesus? Make room in your hearts and your homes for Jesus the Christ, for Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. (John 14:6)
The Christmas season we live in today is about money, and not about Jesus, this is the fourth quarter of the business world and so many merchants use “Christmas and Jesus” to make money. As Christians we are to let our light shine before men so that they may see our good works and may glorify our Father who is in Heaven. (Matthew 5:16) We must let all know about the true meaning of Christmas and this must take place inside of our homes first. We must share with all about what we are really celebrating on December 25th. We should be celebrating the birth of Christ, and it doing so we should love all, not just our families. This love should be shown year round.
We must teach all that after Adam ate from the tree of knowledge, that he died spiritually, being separated from God, in eating from the tree of knowledge sin entered into the world, God told the Devil in Genesis 3:15 that the seed of the woman shall bruise the head of the Devil and that the Devil shall bruise the heel of the seed of the woman and that seed is Jesus. (Luke 1:31) The Prophet Isaiah also told of the coming Jesus and that Jesus would be born of a virgin. (Isaiah 7:14)
Matthew writes in Matthew 1:23 that a virgin shall bring forth a child and that His name shall be Emmanuel which means God with us. Remember that Christmas is more than just giving gifts and spending time with your families. Christmas is the day that we celebrate the birth of Christ, for we know that Christ came into the world to save men’s lives. (Luke 9:56) Christ is the bridge between the Heavenly Father and us. Jesus was born so that we could live. (1 Corinthians 15:21-22)
So let us love all starting right now. Let’s love someone who we have never talked to before. Remember Christ came so that we could live, and with our lives we should be love all and teach all about Jesus. I pray that you will share the words of Christ with as many people as you can. May the peace of Christ be with you.
