Do You Know Jesus?
I greet you today in the name of the Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. My brothers and sisters I do hope all is well with you at this time. Jesus loves you all. Now I do have a question for you! Do you know Jesus Christ?
So many people claim to know Jesus Christ, are you one of them? I am not here to judge or say if a person knows Jesus Christ or not, but I am here to say that the Devil also knows Jesus. There is a difference and the Devil doesn’t want you to know it. Now understand what the difference is. Now do you know Jesus Christ or do you know Jesus Christ as your Lord, and is Jesus Christ your Savior? I presented this question to some people one day and many of them claimed to know Jesus Christ. Now understand that some of these people that knew Jesus Christ; didn’t know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
These people thought that just by knowing who Jesus Christ was and what he has done that they would inherit eternal life in heaven. They had been deceived! Now if one rejects Jesus Christ they will not enter into the kingdom of Heaven. Now let me ask you the question again. Do you know Jesus Christ or do you know Jesus Christ as your Lord, and Savior? The only way to receive eternal life is through the blood of Jesus Christ the Lord and Savior.
Now like I said the Devil does know Jesus Christ, (Matthew 4:1-11, Mark 1:12-13, Luke 4:1-13) but the Devil doesn’t acknowledge Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Jesus Christ is the only way to the Heavenly Father (John 14:6). The Devil doesn’t want you to acknowledge Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. The Devil doesn’t want you to live in peace, for he came to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10).
The Devil knows that if you deny Jesus Christ you will not inherit the kingdom of Heaven, just as he will not inherit the kingdom of Heaven. Understand that in John 16:33, Jesus explains that everyone can have peace in him; and in the world one will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, for Jesus Christ has overcame the world. The Pharisees and the scribes didn’t know Jesus Christ, and Jesus was right in their faces.
Do you want to inherit the Kingdom of God? To do so you must not only know Jesus Christ, but you must also acknowledge Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. You must believe and be baptized in order to be saved. (Mark 16:16) You must accept the words of Christ into your hearts. You must repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:38)
In John 14:15 Jesus is explaining that if you love him, you will keep his commandments. To enter into the kingdom of heaven you must be doing the will of God the Father who is in heaven (Matthew 7:21). The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).
You must accept the ways of life that Jesus Christ has for all. You must turn from an ungodly lifestyle to a godly lifestyle. Repent right now! This is the only way to have eternal life. Share these words with others; let all know about the good news, which is Jesus Christ the Lord and Savior. Let all know what Jesus Christ has done for you and will do for them if they accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. (Mark 16:15) Spread the good news that one can be free from the bondage of sin through the words of Christ. You can have peace in your lives through the words of Christ. You can have eternal life through the words of Christ. Abide in Christ and be free from the bondage of sin!
My brothers and sister stay focus on the words of Christ and remember just how much Jesus Christ loves you. Jesus Christ died for all to save all. (Romans 5:8). Turn to God and understand that your life is not about you! As I close this message I do pray that you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Press forward towards the higher calling of Jesus Christ.
